There’s nothing quite like a church weekend away! Wholeheartedly devoting a couple of days to meeting with God and hanging out with each other will benefit our faith, our children and our whole church family. That’s why we’ve booked Otford Manor from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th July this year. We really hope you can make it, ideally for the whole weekend.
To make it as accessible as possible there’s no charge at the booking stage, although we will be taking up an offering nearer the time to help cover costs. Please check your diary and book in as soon as possible, firstly because rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, but also to help us plan the event.
Henk Kersten, who’s based in Maastricht in The Netherlands and is on the New Ground Core Team, will be with us again as he was four years ago. He’ll be helping us develop Healthy Hearts, which is the theme of our weekend. There’ll be three sessions across Saturday and Sunday, which’ll include a mix of worship, teaching, breakout groups and prayer ministry.
Claire Blades is very excited about leading the children’s work for our 5 to 11 year olds.
There are two options for accommodation. You can stay in one of the 75 beds in the house. Note that single rooms are limited and so you may need to share. Alternatively you can camp in the walled field, which has good facilities, including showers, toilets, and a small kitchen with a microwave, kettle, fridge and sink. We can provide a tent if you need one, and electric hook-up is available for caravans.
You will benefit most from staying the whole weekend. However, if you're really unable to do so then you can book as a day visitor.
Meals are provided for all guests, whether camping or staying in the house. Please book via the 'Signup' button on the previous screen and if you have any questions contact Carrie.
