Leadership

We've a large team of men and women leading different areas of church life at King’s, including groups, courses, events and teams. Below is a brief description of just some of them, particulary those you might see when you pop into the King's Centre or join us on a Sunday.

Simon Quincey

Simon 'Quincey'

Quincey leads our eldership and staff team at King's, with a particular focus on the overall vision of the church. He loves people, he loves telling people about Jesus and he loves telling others his stories of people he's told about Jesus. He's also a local lad, which may explain why he's still known by his surname!

Dale Barlow

Dale

Dale is one of our 'marketplace' elders, in other words he's got another job! He spends his week serving the family of churches we're a part of, called New Ground. This involves him overseeing events and training, and supporting church leaders across northern Europe and beyond.

Kevin Rose

Kevin

Kevin is another elder employed by New Ground to organise, administrate and generally make things happen across our family of churches. At King's he oversees our community activities among other things, while also finding time to compete at tenpin bowling.

Claire Blades

Claire

Claire is a part-time employee of King's Church, leading our children’s work. She is passionate about envisioning and supporting parents and carers in parenting their children for faith.

Deb Berkeley

Deb

Deb is our administrator, who’ll probably answer any call or email to the church office and the first person you meet if you visit the King’s Centre between 10am and 4pm on Monday to Thursday. She also leads the Foodbank. Deb has a growing array of creative talents, from crafting to baking to hair dressing and more!
